AS a co-founder of Friends of Bukit Kiara (FoBK), I lost a dear friend and ardent conservationist, Liew Khooi Cheng, 77, on Saturday.

Dubbed as the Father of Bukit Kiara (BK), I had deep respect for him for his untiring efforts to save and protect Bukit Kiara, one of the few remaining green lungs in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
