I READ with dismay and confusion the letter by Pritam Singh, my former colleague at UTAR, on the predicament he encountered at the National Heart Institute, “New IJN policy not friendly to pensioners”, (The Star, Jan 11).
Despite producing his pension card at IJN, he was denied the medical service he is entitled to as a public service pensioner.
