THE MRT just started operations and I wasted no time in finding out what the excitement was all about.
What a pleasant surprise I had when I boarded the train. For one thing it was very spacious. Then it dawned on me why it is called “MASS rapid transit”, as opposed to “LIGHT rail transit”, which we have been so used to.
