National unity vital for nation’s future

1MALAYSIA Foundation expresses its support for the proposal by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for cross-cultural subjects to be introduced in schools and educational institutions to foster unity among students.

He urged the Education Ministry to seriously consider the cross-cultural curriculum so that real solidarity among students and teachers can be established within the classroom as well as outside the school. If cross-cultural subjects are taught at pre-schools and primary schools, the real spirit of unity can be nurtured among the people.
