THE euphoria of our eldest child scoring 9As in her recent SPM was suddenly cut short as grim reality set in.
As she was just shy of a couple of A+’s for 9A+, we found ourselves searching frantically for scholarships for her further studies overseas in medicine. We don’t know what will happen with the suspended JPA Programme, yet and even so, this would be specifically for those scoring 9A+s and above. And we all know there are limited spaces in local universities.
