Take heed of lightning safety rule

THE tragic death of a teacher in Shah Alam, “Teacher dies after being struck by lightning” (The Star, Jan 30), could have been prevented if the lightning safety rule had been posted in the school and was heeded.

The teacher was reportedly leaning against a metal gate when the school hall was struck by lightning.
