Remember the whole 1949 Thomas Cup team

I REFER to the report Hall of Fame for Thomas Cup Teams” (The Star, Dec 18) .

The first Thomas Cup team of 1949 from then Malaya won the inaugural tournament held in Preston, England by beating Denmark 8-1. The players of the victorious team were: Law Teik Hock, Ooi Teik Hock, Teoh Seng Khoon, Ong Poh Lim, Chan Ko Leong and Yeoh Teck Chye.
