I REFER to the report, “Ministry to rectify History book error” (The Star, Nov 27), which quoted Deputy Education Minister P. Kamalanathan saying the Education Ministry was aware of the error in the Year Six History textbook and was taking steps to rectify it.
In this regard, I would also like to point out four areas in Chapter 4, “Tamadun Islam dan Tamadun Asia (Titas), Second edition” which need to be rectified and updated. They are:
