I REFER to the report “Down in the dumps” (The Star, Sept 16). With due respect to Datuk Lee Chong Wei, we have to face the reality that with age catching up on him, we cannot expect him to continue to emerge as champion in every tournament he participates.
He has delivered when it mattered most and has been a shining star in world badminton.
