Build upon the Tunku’s legacy

I REFER to the letter “Merdeka 365 days a year” (The Star, Sept 9).

To the writer’s “timeless and inspiring” snippets from the life of our beloved Bapa Kemerdekaan, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, I wish to add some memorable comments about the Tunku by people from distant lands and diverse backgrounds.
