M. GANESHADEVA’S letter about pensioners’ need for appropriate medication and health foods has come in good time, “Pensioners need help for medication” (The Star, Aug 12).
I totally support his views and I’m saying this out of my own experience. This old body of mine that has existed for 89 years on earth, and which I am trying to use to the best of my capacity so that it can be useful and not be a burden to others, needs the help of the Government.
