I REFER to the report “Don’t hire unregistered backup docs, clinics told” (The Star, June 26).
The Medical Practitioners Coalition Associations Malaysia (MPCAM) , an association consisting mainly of general practitioners, views the matter brought up by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) president seriously though the numbers highlighted by the council is less than 0.1% of the total registered clinics.
