Camera should be properly positioned

I REFER to the report, “Same number plates, three different cars” (The Star, June 24) in which it was reported that when the driver who received two summonses for alleged traffic offences went to the Road Transport Department headquarters to say that she was not the driver involved in the offence, “the authorities showed her two cars of the same model and same number plates.”

Photographs of vehicles involved in traffic offences show the back view of the vehicle. Such photographs show the number plate and make of the car but not the face of the person driving the vehicle.
