Zero tolerance for insensitive comments

I REFER to the report “Exco man: Teacher just joking” (The Star, June 23).

Firstly, I find it inconceivable that a teacher, someone who is (supposedly) educated and paid to educate our children, would ever suggest that non-Muslim pupils drink in the washroom while their Muslim counterparts are fasting.
