Donations should be audited

MALAYSIANS are very caring and generous and are ever ready to donate to help victims of disasters be they natural or man-made, local or foreign.

However, I have noticed that each time there is a disaster, many organisations/NGOs would start collecting donations which can be sent by cash, cheque, SMS and other means. The donors are happy for having done their charitable duty and they rarely ask for any particulars from the collectors.
