IT is unfortunate that the writer of “Recruitment practices are not professional” (The Star, April 20) had to experience the unprofessional recruitment process in Malaysia upon returning to the country. If it is of any consolation, I also experienced similar treatment when I attended interviews at a couple of leading private university colleges in Malaysia.
It is a common practice to have at least two interview sessions for lecturing positions.
