IT is heartening to note that Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has officially recognised the contributions of arts and culture, to the tune of RM33bil, to the National Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Muhyiddin is also optimistic that in future the creative industries will generate higher returns for the nation.
