WE refer to the letter “What is the real M’sian time” (The Star, March 10) by Chris Syer of Kuala Lumpur.
The real Malaysian time or officially known as the Malaysia Standard Time is decided by the Time and Frequency Laboratory of the National Metrology Laboratory (NML), Sirim Bhd, the appointed national timekeeper from the caesium atomic clocks that it maintains.
