Current minimum wage should be retained


EMPLOYERS are most concerned with the Human Resources Minister’s announcement on Jan 11 that the review of the minimum wage scheme is awaiting Cabinet endorsement.

There has been no response to feedback by employers following the request for inputs in May 2014 by the National Wages Consultative Council (NWCC) and in August 2014 by the National Wages Consultative Council (NWCC) Technical Committee.
