Start with school physical education

I REFER to the report “Time to stop the rot” (The Star, Oct 8).

There is much concern over the dismal performance of our athletes at the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, winning only six out of targeted seven gold, and at the Asian Games in Incheon, where we only managed five gold out of a targeted eight.
