Councils should get serious

LAMP posts, newly painted walls, even garbage bins and, worst of all, road signages are indiscriminately plastered with stickers advertising all kinds of products from easy “soft” loans, ubat kuat, tuition and so on. These irresponsible people are making a mockery of the authorities’ efforts to keep our towns clean.

Huge signboards erected everywhere threatening heavy fines remain only a threat as the culprits know that no action will be taken.
