Prevention is better than cure

I REFER to the health safety advice, “Wash hands to keep Ebola away” (The Star, Sept 22 ).

It is indeed essential for us to follow the advice of Sean G. Kaufman, the director of Safety Training Programmes at Emory University, that is to wash our hands with water and soap and sanitise regularly to render inactive any Ebola virus that may be present.
