Do away with corporal punishment

I RECEIVED an email recently stating that Malta had banned corporal punishment of children, becoming the 37th country to do so.

Since the Swedish ban on corporal punishment of children in 1979, more and more countries have banned the primitive practice of hitting children in the home by parents and in school by caregivers.
