I DID not know whether to laugh or cry when I read the 11 cost cutting measures introduced by the Government “Putrajaya tightens its belt” (The Star, Dec 31).
Would the cost reduction by limiting the use of buntings during events and door gifts be more significant than the potential savings by eliminating corruption and wastage?
