Futsal facilities left to rot

I REFER to the front-page report “ Foul! Million-ringgit futsal failure” (The Star, Nov 9) and laud the Starprobe team for exposing the 2,000-odd 1Malaysia futsal courts built across the country which are in shambles and appalling condition.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had good intention when allocating millions of ringgit to built futsal, netball and basketball courts for our youths to spend their precious time productively and lead a healthy lifestyle rather than getting involved in undesirable activities.
