Great way to save the environment

I felt appreciated when I received a letter from a foreign bank in Kuala Lumpur: “This bank supports environment conservation. We continuously seek ways to reduce paper usage in our business. As such, please be informed that effective from November 2009, you will receive your banking statement on double-sided print. Thank you for supporting us in our quest to save the environment!”

I’ve always wondered why some of our government departments and agencies, and the private sector, often use one side of the paper when both sides of the A4 size paper can be used.
