Music artistes leave a proud legacy


Residents of the Portuguese Settlement in Malacca are trying to revive and popularise the Trez Amigos songs of yesteryear for some sentimental and historical reasons.

The music-minded residents learnt about the success story of Trez Amigos from its famed singer and leader Horace Sta Maria, aged 88, when he was at the heritage village recently. He sang several hits, which amazed everyone.
