I READ with interest the report ‘Not enough health officers on the ground’ (The Star, Nov 13) and could not agree more with what the Health Minister had raised regarding the current state of health promotion in this country especially by trained health officers.
The crux of the problem does not only lie with the lack of intervention by health officers but extends to the lack of partnership approach in tackling health issues.
