I WAS at an inspiring luncheon by the Malaysian chapter of the Universal Peace Federation that is planning to organise a global peace event in October when the organising chairperson began her report by asking the audience in the presence of a handful of foreign ambassadors of peace, “We Malaysians are truly a united people, aren’t we?”
