Not safe to run train

IHAVE to respond to CAP's letter on “Get the funicular train running again” (The Star, July 2).

While I sympathise with the misery of, and inconvenience to, the people affected by the stoppage of the funicular train at Penang Hill, it is very irresponsible of CAP to even suggest that the train be allowed to continue operating at half load.
