Ipoh badly needs a good shake-up

I AM all for any type of improvements for Ipoh city. The hopes and plans to make Ipoh city vibrant, especially at night, by the State Assemblyman for Tebing Tinggi Ong Boon Piow are noble and most encouraging.

Night activities in Ipoh have been dull for the last few years and this has made the city centre almost like a ghost town at night. Ipoh folks simply have no place to go to enjoy themselves at night except for a few places that cater mostly for younger and more upmarket clientele.
