Cheap lighters are not safe

THE volume of disposable lighters that are being traded in the country can run into millions per year and many of these imported cheap brands pose a potential hazard. 

The cheap China-made lighters are often filled with cooking gas. Although the use of cooking gas makes these lighters extremely cheap they are potential “explosives.”
