I AM excited over the prospect of seeing a new breed of young amateur Malaysian footballers, called MyTeam, currently being assembled to take on the national football team at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
As far as I can recall, our national team used to be recognised as an Asian powerhouse in the game. But today we are ranked outside the top 100 in Fifa.
