Samy’s conduct appalling

LAST Thursday, I watched in disbelief at how Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, a senior Cabinet minister, addressed concerns raised by residents of Sri Petaling on the construction of a six-lane elevated highway through a service road in their housing estate on the news.

Not only did he completely miss the point, but was also plainly arrogant and caustic, and applied the classic distraction move by blaming the residents, saying they had brought the plight upon themselves by renovating their homes.
