I AM a Malaysian living in the Houston area for the past 17 years. I have family members living in Malacca and Sungai Petani.

I received a call from the Malaysian Embassy in Washington DC on Friday, minutes after my husband and I decided to evacuate due to Hurricane Rita. I read an article on your website saying that there were 2,000 registered Malaysians living in this area.
