New link a boon to Rawang

I READ with interest the letter, “A rail boon for Rawang folks, by Arivoo Selvadurai (The Star, Sept 9) on the introduction of the commuter train in 1995 that has contributed to ease the transportation woes of residents of Rawang and its outskirts.  

I wish to add that the full opening of the Guthrie Corridor Expressway from Rawang to Shah Alam on Aug 15 has given a new dimension to the folks in Rawang in terms of travelling.
