THE unfortunate train accident in Amagasaki, Japan, on April 25 where more than 100 lives were lost was allegedly attributed to the Japanese culture of punctuality.
The driver of the ill-fated train was 90 seconds behind schedule so he sped beyond the safety limit to make up for lost time.
