Jayalalitha goes on warpath

”NOTHING succeeds like excess” seems to be the motto of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha, who, many Indians believe, is waging a personal vendetta against the Shankaracharya of Kanchi mutt, Jayendra Saraswathi. 

The anointed head of one of the four seats of the Hindu religion, arrested on a murder charge by the Tamil Nadu police in November last year, was ordered to be freed on bail by the Supreme Court earlier last month.
