I READ with interest the letter, “Look into the plight of pharmacists”, (The Star, Sept 16), and sympathise with Houseman Pharmacist in a certain sense.
It is a shame that a beginner in his career is made to feel the inadequacy of the salary earned by him and his similar ranking colleagues. That is, unfortunately, the feeling of most government servants today.
