Make danger stretch safe for road users

THE L-shaped corner at the fifth kilometre of Jalan Sitiawan near the Chinese cemetery is dangerous, especially at night.

I use the road only on weekends and I have seen numerous accidents take place along the stretch.

I am surprised the authorities have not acted to reduce the accident rate there.

Both sides of the road should be lit up for a longer stretch, as only one side now has street lights which, at times, do not work.

Install yellow bumps on the road with luminous blinking lights to warn motorists to slow down, especially at night.

Place road signs well before the corner to inform road users of the danger ahead.
