I PERSONALLY believe that April 23, 2004 was indeed a historic date for this country. Why do I say that? On April 23, the National Integrity Plan (NIP) was launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
What is NIP all about? The Collin Cobuild English Language Dictionary provides two meanings of “integrity”. Firstly, it is “the quality of being honest and firm in your principles”. Secondly, it means “the state of being united as one whole”.
