THERE has been too much politicking in the Indian-based parties to the detriment of the community. 

A broad-minded approach – a paradigm shift – is required to repair the damage done. The solution should be based on a “one-size-fits-all” approach that would bring a collective bargaining power to all categories of people originating from the Indian sub-continent, including Sri Lanka.
