IN accordance with the progressive change of the government policy on teaching science subjects in English, Universiti Malaya’s Medical Faculty has also started teaching some subjects in English, as do other local universities. 

Although Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Medical Faculty is already teaching Anatomy and Physiology in English to first-year students, UM is teaching Anatomy in English and Physiology in Malay.
