THE number of jobless graduates from Universiti Utara Malaysia is appalling, “Poll shows nearly half of UUM grads still jobless” (The Star, Sept 15).

Bravo to the UUM for being open with the number as many other public institutions of higher learning either have no knowledge of their number of jobless graduates or just would not publish it for reasons best known to themselves.
