MY condolences to the family of Nur Shuhaila Tajudin, the 21-year-old girl who died in an accident while having dinner with her friends outside a restaurant, in Petaling Jaya on Sunday, “Promoter killed in car crash”, (The Star, May 26).

The police carried out their duty by remanding the driver of the car under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act for causing death due to dangerous or reckless driving. Kudos to the police for a job well done.
