WE REFER to V.K. Chin’s Comment, Seek alternatives to Australian universities (The Star, May 20). 

Encouraging Malaysians to seek alternatives to Australian universities is not a bad thing in itself. Prospective students should make informed choices about their education options and my own experience has been that Malaysian students research their education options very well.
