Lee: Only US can halt terrorism

UTUSAN Malaysia front-paged Singapore’s Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s views on why the republic needed the United States as an ally. 

Lee told People’s Action Party members that Singapore needed the US “because only that country is capable of stopping the threat of terrorism.”
