THE Employees' Provident Fund has given those who have made withdrawals but without spending the money for the purpose intended to return it by June 30.

It is an offence under the EPF Act to do so and offenders face a six-month jail term or a fine of up to RM2,000 or both. Such withdrawals would be deemed as fraudulent and so the money has to be paid back.
