After a severe setback in the wake of the terrorist bombings of two nightclubs in Kuta, Bali is slowly regaining the confidence the world once had in it as a holiday destination and convention venue. CHARLES F. MOREIRA, who was in Bali last month, reports.

THE Balinese have a saying – “Bali is Bali forever” – to express their gritty determination to overcome the setback they suffered from the terrorist bombings on Oct 12, 2002, of the Sari Club and Paddy’s Club, which killed about 180 people (including 10 Indonesians) and injured over 300 others.
