UTUSAN Malaysia reported an allegation by a local Umno leader that the Sultan Zainol Abidin Islamic College (Kusza) in Kuala Terengganu was forced to admit students from two religious schools without the required SPM qualifications.

Terengganu Umno education bureau chief Rosol Wahid was quoted as saying Kusza, which only accepted students with SPM certificates, was instructed by certain parties to accept these students from the two schools, one of which was allegedly run by Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.
